Description: The Application Programmer/Architect directs a staff of Engineers in ensuring that common architecture decisions are implemented consistently across business and IT in order to support the business and IT strategy. The position requires working with the Business Process Management team focused on Pega. The candidate will be responsible for hands-on end to end design and implementation of high performing and integrated Pega based solution that is scalable, build for change and meets the functional and non-functional requirements. The position will also focus on other BPM products and support the automation initiatives. 
• Responsible for researching, analyzing, designing, and delivery of IT architecture solutions that are appropriate for the business and IT strategies in one or more domains. 
• Oversee the effort to provide integrated systems analysis and recommends appropriate hardware, software, and communication links required to support IT goals and strategy. This may include coordinating activities of the project team and assisting in the monitoring of project schedules and costs. 
• Manage the effort to support, resolve and document issues that arise in the architecture. This may include reviewing designs and recommending improvements to the architecture. 
• Responsible for being aware of IT industry trends, and enterprise standards and methodology and being able to react to issues that arise. 
• Define, implement and maintain technology security infrastructure, policies, processes and procedures to proactively protect, monitor, investigate and resolve threats to a secure user environment and company assets. 
• Translate complex business requirements into functional technical requirements using PegaSystems DCO tools. 
• Architects multi-tier Scalable enterprise applications that are within the Pega Guardrails. 
• Provide direction to stakeholders and leadership regarding the architecture, design and hands-on development of Pega.
Must haves:
10+ years’s of overall application development experience with 6-7+ years’ experience with Pega PRPC
Experience within Business Process Management (BPM)
Nice to haves:
Experience working within a financial environment
Experience a Lead Developer
