Milwaukee, WI – 12+ Months Contract

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Utilize deep understanding of technoalogy stack and design to recommend appropriate software architecture and solutions to complex business problems.

·         Ability to interact with the customers (US based) to understand and analyse their challenges and provide appropriate solutions.

·         Translate the impact of architecture and design choices on non-functional requirements like scalability, performance, availability and security.

·         Be responsible for the scalability, performance, security, and quality of the architecture and design.

·         Troubleshoot complex technical issues. Identify and mitigate risks on projects.

·         Manage multiple competing priorities and negotiate the best possible solutions.

·         Provide hands-on support to project teams where necessary, coding, reviews and discussions. Guide and mentor team members.

·         Drive technology, frameworks & tool choices for the delivery team.

 

Experience:

·         9+ years of experience in Java / J2EE / Spring and related technologies.

·         At least 3 years of experience in defining solution architecture for Enterprise / Ecommerce Applications.

·         3+ years of experience in system architecture, design and implementation of scalable enterprise / ecommerce applications.

·         Should have good hands-on experience on Java/ J2EE Related Technologies & Spring and Hibernate frameworks. 

·         Strong understanding and implementation experience of modern web/integration architectures (SOA, EAI, BPM, SOAP, REST, Web Services, Messaging) Ajax and JavaScript libraries like AngularJS, ReactJS etc. 

·         Exposure to database design and working knowledge of NoSQL databases Cassandra, MongoDB, CouchDB.

·         Exposure to Data Analytics, BigData, Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Zookeeper etc.

·         Working knowledge of messaging systems, Continuous integration (Jenkins etc) and GitHub.

o   Must have worked at least one project from the last three years, around public domain sites / solutions involving scalability, performance, security etc.

o   Must have worked at least one project implementation / solution architecture level from the last three years, around either one of Bigdata / NoSQL / Caching / API gateway

o   Exposure to Data Analytics, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Zookeeper etc.

o   Working knowledge of messaging systems, Continuous integration (Jenkins etc) and GitHub.

·         Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud and Rack Space etc.

·         Knowledge on mobile platforms technologies like IOS, Android and platforms like PhoneGap, Stencha etc.

·         Should have a rich experience in integrations of multiple systems, 3rd party services, data migration, etc.

·         Sound Knowledge on latest Architecture trends, Design Patterns, Object Oriented Programming Concepts.

·         Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills. 

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills -- ability to communicate effectively with various levels of executives. 

·         Excellent organizational and planning skills.
