Two new positions...SSIS Developer and Cognos Admin...Urgent Req

Position: SSIS Developer

Location: SFO, CA

Duration: 6-12 months contract

 

Requirement:

·       Expert Knowledge of Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS) and Analysis Services.

·       Experience in Database Development, modeling, Data Warehousing, Design and Technical Management.

·       Hands on experience in Installation, Configuration and Migration of SQL Server2014/2012/2008 R2/2008/2005/2000, apply periodic service packs and hot fixes (cumulative updates) and complimentary third-party tools. 

·       Extensive experience and proficiency on the design, construction and implementation of Business Intelligence tools (Star Schema, Data-Warehouses, OLAP cubes, Partitioning and Aggregations), with SSIS, Data Cleansing, MSSQL Databases, Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting Services etc.

·       Experience in enhancing and deploying the SSIS Packages from development server to production server.

·       Very Good Understanding and Experience in SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS)

·       Experience in SQL Server DTS and SSIS (Integration Service) package design, constructing, and deployment.

 

 

Position: Cognos Admin

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 6-12 months contract

 

Requirement:

·       Experience in Data Warehousing environment with Cognos Report Net suite and Cognos 11,10.x,8.x/7.x BI series with sound knowledge in different phases of Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) including requirement, analysis, design, development, testing and production support.

·       Good experience on Cognos BI series Tools such as Cognos Report Net/Cognos 8.x, Cognos Impromptu 7.x/6.x, Cognos Impromptu Web Reports (IWR) 7.x/6.x, Cognos Transformer & Power Play 7.x/6.x, Power Play Enterprise Server (PPES) 7.x/6.x, Access Manager 7.0, Upfront 7.3.

·       Expert in Cognos Report Net/Cognos 8-Framework Manager, Cognos connection, Report Studio, Query Studio and Analysis Studio.

·       Thorough knowledge in developing frameworks and dashboards using Cognos,

·       Strong understanding of Business Intelligence (BI, OLAP, MOLAP) tools.

·       Involved in migration of Impromptu Reports (including designing the catalog, identifying the table structure) as well as migration of Report Net 1.x reports to Cognos8, Cognos8 to cognos10.1.1

·       Excellent skills with expertise in Data design, analysis using Oracle 7x/8i/9i, 10g, SQL Server, DB2, SQL, PL/SQL and ran SQL queries and validate the data in Data warehouse and Data Marts.

·       Expert in developing and testing of reports and cubes using Cognos 7.x, 6.x tools in Windows.
