IBM Websphere Administrator

We are looking for a candidate who will:

• Lead the efforts for continual process and quality improvement and deliver reliable end-to-end service
• Lead from front to have a good communication between onsite and offshore team
• Handled the analysis of new/existing architectures, set long term strategic direction, and ensure engineering platforms meet reliability and expectations throughout the process using industry standards and best practices
• Working with Enterprise Architects, Project Managers, Vendors and Developers to define and implement a Software Configuration Management solution
• Ensure the guiding principles, lifecycle, processes are adhered when delivering business solutions
• Responsible to ensure operational documentations and run-books are up to date, reviewed and reliable
• Contribute in designing the overall system and solution, system integration and implementation strategy

Job Skills:

• Experience in Mobile Automation Testing, CICD/Jenkins/Maven
• Experience in Java, JavaScript & React Native
• Experience in building/automating native apps
• Experience in Android & iOS mobile operating systems

Functional Area:

Preferred (not mandatory):

• Knowledge on NxtGen technologies
• Gemfire installation & configuration - Cache and Locators
• Good to know Continuous Build and Continuous Integration/Deployment pipeline processes and DevOps processes for Agile Projects
• Basic Intermediate skill on Cloud tools

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Installation and configured IBM Httpserver , WebSphere Application Server 7/8 (ND) on AIX & RHEL operating Platforms for production or development environments
• Integrating WebSphere Application Server/ WebSphere Portal Server and Deployment manager with IBM HTTP Server/Sun ONE Web Server, Oracle and DB2.
• Understand Web and App design from end to end which involves firewall, DNS , loadbalancer
• Configure and secure web server interface, session management, WebSphere resources, J2C resources, JMS resources and connection factories in IBM WebSphere 7.0 and 8.5
• Configure WebSphere security using LDAP user registry
• Create SSL request and Enable Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for the WAS & web with Entrust, MSPKI and Verisign Certification
• Configuring Data Source , JDBC and JMS
• Migrate existing applications from WebSphere Application Servers 7.0 to 8.5 on UNIX platforms (Solaris, AIX, Linux).
• SiteMinder installation and configuration
• Knowledge on Middleware products Tomcat and Jboss (good to have)
• Strong knowledge on Middleware design and take decisions technically that are required for the application / project
• Work along with Architects to prepare a design or spec for Websphere or Middleware
• Troubleshooting Middleware issues from Build, Deploy and Run perspective Automation
