Job Description	We are seeking a .NET Developer with an extensive background in C#, ASP.NET MVC or .Net Core, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework. The candidate will be part of an agile team focused on supporting an antiquated .NET system with ESRI GIS integration for tracking West Nile occurrences, lab results and areas of mosquito testing. Additionally, this individual may support a similar system for tracking black fly data. While supporting this aging system, the resource will be the lead developer for the re-write of this system, working closely with a Business Analyst, a Project Manager, and the Program area while developing in an Agile environment. The candidate should be well versed in backend, and the controller pieces of developing. Also they should be strong and well-versed in UI/UX design, including HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery. Extensive experience utilizing Visual Studio 2013 or newer is required. Experience managing work items and source code in VSTS is also required. The ideal candidate should also have familiarity with Oracle Data Provider (ODP.NET) as the backend database may be Oracle. Experience with agile/SCRUM development is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities	Codes enhancement and development programs and/or required fixes to production problems using the functional and technical programming standards. Design and Develop UI screens. Develop these enhancements or features using: C#, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, XML, CSS and Visual Studio 2013/2015. Tests enhancement and development programs. Participates in structured code reviews / walkthroughs. Executes all required process steps. Creates and provide content for operational documentation to Technical Writers. Utilizes configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an application. Work in an agile team environment. Manage and complete assigned tasks in TFS/VSTS Strong communication skills; both written and spoken. C# - 5 Years ASP.NET 3.5 or greater with MVC – 3-5 Years UI Design (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery) – 3+ Years Visual Studio 2013 or newer – 3 Years (combined) TFS or VSTS/DevOps .NET Core Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) ESRI GIS toolset Knowledge of Lab sampling and processing Knowledge of Oracle Data Provider - ODP.NET Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or newer Utilizing services
