Our client in Houston, TX is looking for an experienced Technical Lead with strong experience in Salesforce platform and related technologies. This role will have day-to-day management of our Salesforce technical team (onshore and offshore) and working closely with the business analysts, project managers and business owners to support our global Salesforce environment and deliver highly scalable and top-quality solutions. The candidate will be customer focused, highly collaborative and constantly seek input to ensure success. The candidate should be ready to get their hands dirty and jump in and write code/troubleshoot if necessary (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, front end web technologies & data migration).
• Maps business functional requirements to system/technical requirements
• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs
• Lead technical design sessions, designing and documenting technical solutions that are aligned with the WM`s business objectives
• Thorough understanding of/and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API’s.
• Expertise in implementations covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com, Chatter & App-exchange applications
• Expertise in Salesforce core languages: Apex (language, triggers, classes, web services); Visualforce (pages and components); Lightning components and SOQL
• SFDC Experience working in Visualforce, Lightning/Communities, APEX coding, Process Builder, Triggers, Workflows, Flows, CSS, HTML, Templates, Custom coding and Web Services
• Lightning development experience including lightning design, components, Aura Framework, JavaScript and Server-side components
• Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch and sync/async
• Integration experience using both Web based technologies (Soap, Rest) and Integration/Middleware tools such as MuleSoft, Webmethods etc.
• Able to lead and deliver multiple projects parallelly under tight timelines.
• Experience with Agile Scrum delivery framework.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with senior levels of management, staff and clients required.
• Works with Salesforce technical team to design and implement deployment automation and CI/CD tools and promote adoption by the entire Salesforce development team
• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
• Tracks & assesses team's performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of a broad range of emerging technology trends and identifies opportunities where technology might be deployed to deliver business improvements and competitive advantage.


 

Skills and Experience
Essential:
• Proven track record within an Agile Development organization, familiar with development methods
• Experienced in technical specification, design, and development of sophisticated business applications
• Experienced in Salesforce.com technical architecture standards, constraints and best practices
• Expertise in implementations covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com, Chatter & App-exchange applications
• Expertise in Salesforce core languages: Apex (language, triggers, classes, web services); Visualforce (pages and components); Lightning components and SOQL
• SFDC Experience working in Visualforce, Lightning/Communities, APEX coding, Process Builder, Triggers, Workflows, Flows, CSS, HTML, Templates, Custom coding and Web Services
• Lightning development experience including lightning design, components, Aura Framework, JavaScript and Server-side components
• Ability to think critically and challenge conventional thinking


 

Desirable:
• Awareness of/exposure to operational business processes, especially Order to Cash
• Broad understanding of technical topics including integration, security, performance optimization, master data management, and mobile strategy and application
• Salesforce.com Platform Developer I & II certifications.


 

Education
Applicant must have bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years direct experience in all aspects of developing and implementing CRM or salesforce platform applications..
