Description:

Primary Skill:

• Need a candidate who has done extensive application production
support.
• App support candidate who have supported apps of.NET , Java based
applications.
• Scripting knowledge, knowledge if web app servers like IIS, jboss,
tomcat etc still remains.
• Very good with Unix, Shell Scripting, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, IIS,
guy who has extensive support experience, ITIL certification should be plus
• Working Knowledge of databases , different OS and a candidate with
investigative mindset for in house developed applications.

Secondary Skill: Python, Perl

Required Exp level:

• 8 to 10 years sounds reasonable. Good Communication and maturity to
manage stakeholders is important as many stake holder specially client
managers and business managers here are American and they also judge folks
on their ability to articulate and communicate. It may also be high
pressure job. Person should be open to work in odd hours and weekends.

Job duties in 2 lines:
•
Application Support guy from BFSI background, have worked extensively on
Unix platform. Ability to write platform native scripts. Ability to find
avenues of automation and implementing them with little support. Good
understanding in Change management process. Able to withstand pressure and
open to work on weekend and odd hours given the situations.
