The Client is looking for US Citizens, TN and E3 Visa holders and Green Card holders. JOB DESCRIPTION - Role: Python Engineer with CI/CD Expertise (CoderPad in Python)
- Location: NYC (200 west)
- Key Skills: UNIX, Python, Cloud Engineering (AWS preferred), CI / CD - DevOps background i.e. monitoring, provisioning, containers, immutable infra is foundation
- Interview process: Internal Screening / Coding assessment, Client CoderPad, Client Phone Screen, Client WebEx / in-person
RESPONSIBILITIES - Design and develop high-quality automation workflows in the cloud using Python
- Automate the provisioning of cloud environments using Terraform, Ansible and other tools
- Update and maintain documentation for team processes, best practices and software run books
- Collaborate with global cross functional team in building customer-centric products
- Must be independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environment
- Exceptional analytical skills, able to apply expertise to drive complex, Technical and highly commercial solutions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - B.S. or higher in Computer Science
- 6+ years' experience in software development, including a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts
- Strong experience in Python
- A working knowledge of Linux
- Experience with version control, continuous integration, deployment, and configuration management tools in a DevOps environment
- Experience leveraging test driven development techniques
- Comfortable with Agile operating models
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications - o Experience with Ansible, Gitlab, EC2, ECS, S3 and other AWS services
- o Experience with server less platforms (e.g. AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions)
- o Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience in Financial Services or Fintech
