Remote Job For Business Analyst with Tableau experience !!!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Tableau Dashboard and Data Source Development
• Work with corporate team to create new Tableau dashboards for enterprise projects
• This will involve collaboration with Project Managers, Business Owners, and Tableau COE team members
• Uphold Tableau and data visualization best practices while fulfilling project requirements
• Thoroughly test dashboards and implement feedback from the business
• Deploy dashboards to production environment and work with Tableau COE to add to internal portal/Reporting Hub
• Review existing Tableau dashboards for best practices, optimize dashboards and implement performance enhancements
• Assist data engineer with designing optimized SQL queries for Tableau data sources

 
Secondary Responsibilities:

• Provide Tableau community Support
• Assist with new user onboarding to Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
• Support Tableau developer community by answering Tableau related questions
• Review Service Desk tickets and route to appropriate team member
• Support shared team email by reviewing new emails, forwarding to appropriate team member, and communicating back to users

 
Required Skills:

• Advanced Tableau development experience (3+ years)
• Experience publishing to Tableau Server
• Intermediate knowledge of Tableau Server administration
• Understanding of how user, groups, projects, and security/permissions work
• Ideally knows how to add users to Server, create groups and projects, and apply permissions
• Proficient in SQL and creating optimized data sources
• Experience working with Amazon Redshift is preferred
• Experience using Alteryx and/or Tableau Prep is a plus
• Knowledge of using Tableau PostgreSQL database
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret project requirements to create meaningful dashboard designs
• Suggests logical dashboard designs that will deliver performant data visualizations while meeting expectations of project

 
Certifications:

• Tableau certifications a big plus;
  • Tableau Desktop Certified Associate
  • Tableau Desktop Certified Professional
  • Tableau Desktop Specialist
  • Tableau Server Certified Associate and/or Certified Professional
