Job Description

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

·         Experience designing and implementing applications using AWS database and analytics services including Aurora PostgreSQL, Redshift, Athena, EMR, and GLUE.

·         Experience implementing Security Controls including Role Based Access Control in all in scope services

·         Experience with Redshift Schema, User Group, and Resource Group design.

·         Experience on Apache Ranger Integration with AWS EC2 and RDS.

·         Experience on Spectrum Setup using AWS Glue metadata catalog.

·         Experience translating logical data models to technology specific physical data models supporting the needs of the business and application

·         Experience writing Python, Java, and Unix Shell scripts to support team automation and monitoring requirements.

·         Experience with Dev/Ops tools like GIT Repository, BIT Bucket, and Flyway.

·         Ability to prepare status reports to accurately communicate progress; provide early notification of problems that could affect schedules, or the integrity or availability of data.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         8 Years of experience in Information Technology.

·         4 plus years of AWS or Bigdata experience.

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent

·         AWS Solution Architect Certification

·         AWS Bigdata Specialty certification is preferred.
