Job Title -  Infra Automation

Location – New York

 The Team:

The team works in an agile environment and adheres to all principles of Agile. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will work with a team of intelligent, ambitious, and hard-working software professionals. The team is independent in driving all decisions and is responsible for the architecture, design and quick turnaround of development of our products with high quality.

Responsibilities:

• Work in the agile environment and adhere to all DevOps best practices.
• Active cooperation/collaboration with the teams at various geographic locations
• Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Provide prompt response and support in resolving critical issues (along with the development team)
• May require after hours/weekend work for production implementations

What we're looking for:

Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/PG degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 7 years of strong industry experience in DevOps Tooling and infrastructure automation.
• Broad knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies along with change and configuration management practices in Linux-based environments
• Knowledge of cloud environments preferably AWS
• Experience with automated deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation using Ansible)
• Strong knowledge of container based environment (Docker Containers)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Java, Javascript, Nodejs, Maven, Shell, PowerShell, .Net)
• Solid technical expertise and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with source control tools such as GIT

 

Soft Skills Qualifications:

• Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and debugging skills
• Ability to build environments, systems, and solutions from the ground up
• Quick learner
• Service-oriented; ability to supply services to a large R&D group
• Team-oriented attitude
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and ensure tasks are completed on schedule
