Job Description:
The candidate will work with OOD IT and the State of Ohio Office of Information Technology (Client) on .NET and/or CSS solution development, which may include converting on-premise applications or jobs to Microsoft Azure solutions. More specifically, we will be looking for a candidate with expertise and understanding of developing .NET solutions within Microsoft Azure in order to:
•Convert on-premise applications and batch jobs to Microsoft Azure solutions
•Collaborate with all IT (Network, Application Development, Database, Help Desk) technical teams to ensure proper integration of the environments

Mandatory skills
1.5 years of verifiable experience as a .NET Web Developer developing ASP.NET MVC applications at least 4 years.
2.5 years of verifiable ASP.NET experience developing with the C# language.
3.5 years of verifiable experience with SQL Server Database design and development, including optimizing queries, creating tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
4.5 years of application experience developing applications using Entity Framework (EF) 6.0 or later.
5.5 years of experience with the AGILE methodology.
6.5 years of verifiable experience developing web applications utilizing the 4.7 .NET Framework or higher.
7.5 years of experience of code repository strategies, branching and merging, code promotion strategies and recovery using Team Foundation Server (TFS).
8.5 years of verifiable experience implementing Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) enabled controls within Active Server Pages (ASP).Net Web applications.
9.5 years of experience or a demonstrable understanding of developing mobile-compliant applications.
10.5 years of experience developing with Visual Studio; 1 year with Visual Studio 2022.
11.2 years of experience with TFS/Azure DevOps including git, boards and pipelines.
Certifications or Desired skills if any
2 years experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
2 years experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Strong communication/ leadership skills.
Strong influence, collaboration and negotiation experience.
Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language.
2 years experience with Authentication/Federation/Authorization methodologies in relation to the Microsoft Cloud: Active Directory, Azure Active Directory including managed identities, Multi-factor Authentication
5 years experience with CSS and JavaScript
2 years experience with Microsoft Azure Data Technologies
Azure SQL and SQL Managed Instance
Azure Storage
Data Factory with SSIS integration
