Position: Automation Tester

Location: Sacramento CA (Onsite)

Job Description:

Automation Specialist responsible for delivering large scale project, covering several segments, plan and execute work for completing testing coverage as per project specifications. The role will have communication and escalation responsibilities and will work under the direction of a QA automation Lead. The role will be able to mentor and onboard new automation specialist.

- Automation Point of Contact ("POC") for a large scope automation project

- Responsible for coordinating automation efforts with QA team, product and engineering teams

- Identify key testing challenges / goals and develop initial test automation code

- Prioritize which test automation code to build first

- Analysis, optimization, improvement & maintenance of current test automation suites

- Resolve technical issues, anticipate risks and ensure timely management escalation - Works effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision

- Technical lead responsible for training and mentoring other automation specialists

- Communicate plan / updates / status of product automation effectively to all stakeholders

- At least 8-10 years of total test automation experience on UI, API and Mobile

- 4+ years of UI Automation experience using JavaScript based automation frameworks such as Nightwatch, Cypress, WebdriverIO, JEST etc.

- 4+ years of API Automation experience using Rest-Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, Pytest, Karate, etc.

- 4+ years of Mobile automation experience using Appium, Espresso, XCUItest, etc.

- Languages: Javascript, Python, Java, etc. - Clouds: 4+ years of experience with either AWS, Azure or GCP

- CI/CD: Jenkins, Travis, Spinnaker, etc.

- Knowledge: SQL, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Git

- Operating systems: Linux, Windows and Mac

- Have excellent mentoring and training skills
