 Position: SQL DEVELOEPR

 

Location:  Albany, NY, HYBRID

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Visa: USC,GC,EAD-GC,

USC, GC & GC-EAD

We need to confirm education for every consultant before presenting them to our client. So yes, we will need it before. The only possible exception will be if someone is a US Citizen and went to school in the US.

Job Summary:

The Database Developer will combine strong database and analytical skills to work with the product owner and development staff in a fast-paced Agile environment. This is a hybrid-remote position with the occasional need to be on-site in Albany, NY throughout the contract, and limited evening and weekend work.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and maintain stored procedures and functions in a complex application where business logic is predominately in the database
• Manage database changes via source control across development, test and production systems
• Participate in code reviews
• Analyze, deploy and tune the database and queries for optimal efficiency

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills
• The successful candidate will be very well organized and pay close attention to detail
• Strengths in documentation and logic
• Demonstrated experience in developing complex database systems, implemented on Microsoft SQL Server, version 2012 or later
• Experience developing database systems according to documented standards, using a strong understanding of database normalization and the third normal form of database design
• Experience building database schemas, tables, views, procedures, functions and system security
• Demonstrated experience with integration with software version control systems
• This position prefers a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related degree where problem solving skills are emphasized
• Ability to work well with a geographically dispersed team, using Agile methodologies
• This is a twenty-four to thirty month contract position
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• 3-5 Years of relevant experience
