looking for a passionate, innovative, talented Software Engineer who wants to create incredible human computer interactions using voice IVR experiences.

The Software Engineer plays a key role in the design, development, and delivery of Cloud native applications. Responsibilities will include working with a team of software engineers to code IVR experiences which meet customer's requirements. The successful candidate will have experience with Java programming and provide business value by participating in architectural and technical discussions, understanding business requirements and coding as per department standards, and implementing code as per the CI/CD process. Join the team as we architect, design, and develop a new system from the ground up.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent training/experience)
- Expertise with the Java programming language
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software design/development
- Proven experience with microservice design/development
- 2+ years' experience with CICD pipelines
- Experience with Avaya IVR and Nuance Voice Recognition
- Strong Software Engineering fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, source code management, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
- Excellent technical problem-solving, design, coding, and testing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in person and in written form
- Experience working in an Agile Software Development team
- Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
Basic Skills:
- Java, SQL
- Eclipse, Git, Jira
- Microservices architecture (RESTful API and Graph QL)
Additional Desired Qualification/Skills:
- Experience in Cloud development
- Experience in Microservice architecture/design
- Prior experience with Kubernetes in a production environment
- Experience working with data services such as Redis and MySQL and messaging services such as Kafka
- Experience with VoiceXML programming for dynamic interactive Voice Response (IVR) Systems
- Experience with the development of in-line and global speech recognition grammars using GRXML
