Urgent Need on Sr Network Engineer--Ashburn, VA(Onsite)

Role: Sr Network Engineer

Location: Ashburn, VA

Skill Sets
Design, route, switch, firewall, Cisco ISE, implementation.

JD:
Expert/Chief level skills network engineer -
Layer 3 routing (BGP, OSPF, etc), Layer 2 (spanning tree, VPCs, etc)
Firewalls (ASA, Palo Alto)
Expert level experience in Network design and implementations.

Hardware migration and cutover for two data center locations. Migrating off of legacy Cisco Catalyst switches into new Nexus 9K spine leaf switches. Deployment of new dedicated MDS SAN switches.

Remove ROC/HQ location from critical path:
Design and build new L2/L3 space in both data centers and build out connectivity to support new dedicated jump servers, and deploy dedicated appliances for Cisco ISE and supporting services

Hardware migrations tasks:
Technical assistance in creating MOPs to finish hardware migration from legacy catalyst devices into new Nexus 9K spine leaf hardware that includes moving Layer 3 SVIs and migrating BGP routing configs from current L3 Catalyst switches into the Nexus 9Ks. Assisting in executing the migration at approved time of change.
Assistance in configuring MDS 9000 SAN switches.
This work will need to be completed for each of our two data centers.

ROC/HQ critical path:
Technical assistance in creating MOPs to help deploy new firewalls, networks, and routing to support new layer 2 VLAN/network that will support new jump server environment.
Assistance with implementing configurations and changes of the new networks, routing, and configurations to support the needed network changes to provide connectivity to new jump server environment.
Assist in deploying dedicated Cisco ISE appliances.
This work will need to be completed for each of our two data centers.
