Role: Kafka Architect---Remote

Job Description

• Design and implement Kafka architecture to support high-throughput data streaming applications.

• Lead the development and deployment of Kafka-based solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.

• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate Kafka with existing systems.

• Monitor and optimize Kafka clusters for performance, availability, and security.

• Provide guidance and best practices for Kafka development and operations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka infrastructure and applications.

• Develop and maintain documentation for Kafka architecture and processes.

• Set up and manage Private Link for secure data access (if not already implemented).

• Enable Single Sign-On (SSO) with roles managed via Active Directory (AD) Groups (if not already implemented).

• Establish and maintain environments for development/testing, QA, and production.

• Configure and support Kafka connectors, including incremental changes and monitoring.

• Set up Kafka topics with appropriate security measures, providing ongoing support and monitoring.
