What You'll Do
-
Work as a developer on maintenance product applications.
-
Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, developers, and internal customers to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
-
Maintain and enhance existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain-driven design and test-driven development.
-
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues and implement effective solutions.
-
Create detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates.
-
Research and implement new technologies to improve processes, security, and performance.
-
Support the development of coding standards and follow best practices and security guidelines.
-
Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure alignment with long-term enterprise goals.
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience)
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent experience/training.
-
8+ years of full SDLC experience designing, developing, implementing, monitoring, and supporting large-scale applications in both on-prem and cloud-hosted environments.
1. Java & Spring Boot Expertise
-
Strong hands-on experience building applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
2. Event-Driven Architecture with Kafka/MSK
-
Proven experience designing and implementing event-driven systems using Apache Kafka or Amazon MSK for real-time messaging and streaming.
3. Cloud Deployment (Azure/AWS)
-
Practical experience deploying and managing applications on Azure or AWS, with familiarity in cloud-native services and CI/CD pipelines.
Containerization & Orchestration
-
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for microservices deployment and management.
CI/CD & DevOps Practices
-
Familiarity with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Monitoring & Observability
-
Knowledge of Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or similar tools.
Database Technologies
-
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
Security & Compliance
-
Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and API/cloud application security best practices.
Testing Frameworks
-
Hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito, and integration testing for microservices.
