Description The FDC's OIT is seeking the services of an experienced Applications Development Analyst. This candidate will have experience in systems design and proficient knowledge of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies. The successful candidate shall report directly to the E-Systems Data Processing Manager. Scope of Work/Job Characteristics The Applications Development Analyst will work closely with customers, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. The duties and responsibilities of this position are: - Ensure the analysis and design solutions are aligned with business and IT strategies that comply with the FDC's architectural standards;
- Design, code, test, implement, and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget;
- Make recommendations regarding reuse of existing code or development of new code;
- Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy vs. build recommendations;
- Provide senior level programming support with managing expectations of diverse stakeholders and provide regular briefings for the OIT executive leadership;
- Work independently and as part of a larger cross-functional team; and
- Complete activities surrounding the implementation and support of agency governance.
Billable Hours Billable hours should be limited to 40 hours per week, unless pre-approved by the FDC’s Chief Information Officer (CIO), or designee.
