Java+Kafka Senior Developer (Day 1 Onsite)-Los Angeles CA

Role: Java+Kafka Senior Developer (Day 1 Onsite)
Location: Los Angeles CA

• BS in Computer Science or related field, plus 7+ years related experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Desire to work with and share new and innovative ideas, constantly expanding your knowledge
• Analytical, strong organization and planning skills
• Ability to work on complex technical and business problems while creative solutions
• The following required technical experience:
o 7+ experience with Core Java and Java web application development for RESTful web services
o 5+ years of strong knowledge w/ Spring Framework, Sprint boot and Build Tools, such as Maven
o 3+ working knowledge in Reactive and Event drive programming using Kafka
o 7+ of strong knowledge in accessing data using Spring Data, JPA and JDBC
o Strong OOP Design Skills and experience with design patterns
o Ability to understand and author APIs
o Practice in Test-driven Development
o Good knowledge in multi-threading and concurrency
• Highly preferred experience, but not required:
o Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins , Docker, Kubernetes
o Working with Checkmarx, Qualys, Aqua and similar code/system scanners and remediation for security focused development
o Strong knowledge in optimizing SQL, Stored Procedure is a plus
o Profession experience in using ETL tool Clover DX to implement import and export data flows.
