- Maintaining content in the portal.
- Exporting and importing content objects.
- Uploading content and actions using XML scripts.
- Monitoring the portal.
- Assign user permissions to portal content.
- Defining portal user access rights to portal objects in the Portal Content Directory (PCD).
- Configuring the lock mechanism for PDC objects.
- Creating and editing systems, and maintaining system aliases.
- Configuring portal services using the Service Configuration Editor.
- Creating and managing portal desktops to suit your business scenario.
- Administering and managing content consumers and producers in a global portal network.
- Configuring DQE performance properties, controlling DQE sessions, and preloading system metadata to improve runtime performance.
- Accessing various support tools that assist with troubleshooting in the portal.
- Hands on experience on sap webdynpro java and webdynpro ABAP.
- Knowledge of portal transport strategy
- Hands-on experience on NWDI DTR, CBS, CMS and NWDS
- Knowledge/deployment experience of standard business packages like ESSMSS
- Experience of portal upgrade
- Creation of transactional iviews
