Client : Infosys Job Title: POSTGRES SQL DBA Location: Irvine, California Position : Contract Duration : 6 Months + Extendable MUST HAVE: * AWS Detailed Job Description * Experience in architect and deploy the reliable AWS RDS Aurora Postgres Instances * Designing the user access provision based on the industry best practices * Troubleshooting the performance related Issues on Postgres Instance using Performance Insight and Query plan Management (QPM). * Developing and enhancing the scripts to automate and execute various DBA tasks. * Assist engineering team in the design of appropriate DB Schema and indexing strategy for performance and scalability. * Experience supporting a mission-critical database environment with 24x7 On-Call Support including weekends. * Good knowledge in Identifying and resolving incidents and address to user problems/concerns. * Assist engineering and application team in the design of appropriate DB Schema and indexing strategy for performance and scalability. * Hands on experience in configuring and maintaining Amazon Web Services which include services like Amazon EC2, VPC, Elastic Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, Security Groups and Route53 DNS * Experience in Deploying, maintaining and integrating services on Cloud Platform [AWS] * Good knowledge on the Ansible and Terraform tools Minimum years of experience: 8 to 12+ years Interview Process (Is face to face required?): No Best Regards, Melvin Roberts ☎: 310-294-1047 x 101 My timings are 9AM EST to 5.30 PM EST.
