Responsibilities
• Engage with other analysts, DB team members and other department team members for data analysis of complex configuration data for Application, Database and Infrastructure dependencies. This supports migration plans and issue resolutions for not only the database team but other application, architecture and infrastructure teams.
• Technical writing to improve documentation and communication for database team.
• Assist various project managers, enterprise architecture and client teams for business processes, engagement and tracking.
• Help to improve engagement and automation of tools that support the Global DB team.
• Help support DBAs in cross-platform environment.
• Help support software for enterprise data architecture tools and enterprise archiving tools.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.
• Extensive and Advance SQL knowledge.
• Experience in SQL Server and/or Oracle as DBA or technical DB business analysis.
• Strong organization and communication skills in a complicated cross-functional organization.
Additional Qualifications
• Understanding of database HA strategies
• Communicate/work effectively in a team environment
• Experience in ER/Studio administration is a plus
• Experience in Microfocus Structured Data Manager is a plus
• Sharepoint development is a plusEngage with other analysts,
