The key is à SharePoint developer role using SharePoint online/O365 and SharePoint on Premise 2013/2016

Location is Washington, DC hybrid

• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance
• All candidates must be a US Citizens only
• Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years consecutively.
• Cannot have more than 6 months of travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded.

Position: Senior SharePoint Developer/Administrator

We are seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer/Administrator who can develop, configure, maintain, and administer SharePoint websites.

Your daily responsibilities will be to develop and design web applications and software, develop SharePoint sites, and manage the SharePoint servers in an enterprise environment. You'll also will be required to convert processes into SharePoint workflows; interface with project team members and follow the system engineering life cycle best practices.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and administer Microsoft SharePoint 2016 Servers, including daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis Install and configure SharePoint software and related components.
• Managing the functionality of features such as Search, view the Audit Log Reports, working with site collection policies, managing the site collection caching, and activate or deactivating Site Collection features.
• Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new SharePoint-based initiatives (upgraded versions, patching, and integration with additional Enterprise Systems).
• Perform typical system administrative activities such as backup, restore, and issue resolution.
• Manage the content creation/publishing between development, test and production environments.
• Meet with the customer to review the website and application requirements.
• Configure customer SharePoint systems to specified requirements.
• Extend SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.
• Provide systems training to staff and customers when requested/needed.
• Use Business Connectivity Services or similar technology to interface with external systems.

Required Skills:
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a SharePoint developer role using SharePoint online/O365 and SharePoint on Premise 2013/2016.

• Minimum seven (5+) years' experience in working in technical teams for IT Delivery and Support. Must have experience working in an Agile development team.
• Experience in client interaction and understanding business application, business data flow and migration from SP 2016 to SharePoint online/O365.
• Experience in SharePoint framework, building sites in hybrid environments, developing and administration. Experience in developing and building Web Parts using SharePoint Designer, HTML and CSS Experience of SharePoint Architecture design and implementation Experience at migration planning, preparation and execution of SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online/O365
• Extensive work/experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath and JavaScript.
• Expertise in creating and updating PowerShell scripts to maintain SharePoint environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of SDLC process, performing unit testing, and packing to deploy from DEV to PROD.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately. Results oriented, independently driven, self-motivated.
• Track record of delivering results, setting strategy, and leading a large volume and high-profile customer, including influencing stakeholders and working in cross-functional projects.
• High threshold for working in a fast-passed environment and figuring it out solutions and adapting to situations quickly.
• Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong communicator, ability to concisely communicate complex information.
• Ability to create original documentation, to include Architectural and Process Flow Diagrams. Preferred Certifications:
• MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server)

CLEARANCE: U.S. Citizenship Must pass background investigation to obtain and maintain US Capitol Police Agency clearance.


PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Must be able to work at minimum 1X per week at the client site: Washington DC, Capitol Hill (2.5 blocks Southwest of the Capitol).

EDUCATION: Requires BS / BA and 5 years' experience or if no degree, 8 to 10 years work experience is required.
