Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or related field 
• 5+ years of relevant experience in roles such as Scrum Master, Agile coach, Product Owner, or Project Manager for a technical product 
• Passion for operational excellence, attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment 
• Demonstrated bias for action and results, with strengths in problem solving and issue-resolution 
• Strong leadership and communication skills and be able to influence without having authority of the team 
• Ability to cultivate consensus and alignment within the team and with external teams across the organization 
• Excellent information radiator that include tailoring the message for the audience and medium to effectively keep everyone informed 
Preferred Qualifications 
• Scrum Master certification (CSM or PMI-ACP) 
• Experience using Jira Issue & Project Tracking Software

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure valuable and effective Scrum Ceremonies 
• Assist Product Owners in grooming product backlogs to prepare for sprint 
• Provides coaching on Agile values and practices while emphasizing continuous improvement 
• Tracks and ensures visibility of historical team metrics and progress of the iteration and release 
• Emphasizes the need for incremental releases, iterative work and prioritization by value and risk 
• Collaborates with project leads to aggressively address issues, risks and mitigation plans. Instils a sense of urgency reflecting the goals for the current iteration, upcoming release, and project vision, while passionately emphasizing the importance of meeting these goals 
• Optimizes, increases and sustains throughput; ensuring prioritization of work by value and risk 
• Is collaborative in driving decisions and team behavior, guarding against making decisions and assignments for the team and instead creates and environment where teams have the context needed to make the best decision 
• Assists team with making appropriate commitments through story selection, sizing and tasking 
• Proactively identifies and removes blockers, limits work in progress and prevents distractions 
• Facilitates frequent retrospectives, sharing metrics to identify and implement improvements 
• Identifies, creates and defends opportunities for expediting feedback throughout the iteration
