- General qualifications for a SRE
- • Strong Java programming experience
- • Database/data warehouse experience, specifically Hadoop, Oracle, Netezza, etc.
- • Messaging and streaming systems experience
- • Replication experience: Database, file transfer, Hadoop
- • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- • Lead/mentor junior members of the team.
- • Presentation to Senior and executive management
- • Change Management/ITSM experience
- • Automation, CI/CD, Monitoring and alerting development experience
