SOFTWARE ENGINEER .NET

Position Description

This position is responsible to design, develop, implement, test and analyze software applications in an Agile environment as part of the digital web service team, supporting web, SharePoint, mobile and other digital initiatives in a mission-focused organization. Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production lifecycle. Also analyze and remediate software defects and provide recommendations to enhance client’s digital presence, including the development of a new website(s) and improved functionality for members.

Required Experience

• Min Five years of software development experience.
• Technical knowledge of programming languages, including JavaScript, C#, AJAX, ASP.net, .NET Framework, WCF web services.  
• Experience working with enterprise applications and in integrated development environments, including Microsoft Visual Studio and TFS.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Server operating systems and development toward Microsoft SQL databases, including SSIS and SSRS solutions.
• Mobile development experience - AngularJS, iOS and/or Android.  
• Knowledge of current internet technologies, including IIS, Apache.
• Experience developing for mobile platforms.
• Software troubleshooting experience and knowledge of secure coding practices.
• Experience with phases of the software development life cycle, especially related to agile processes, code management, and code review.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Technical knowledge of programming languages, including JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, Rails, and other web service frameworks.
• Familiarity with the health care industry and knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Experience working with enterprise applications.
• SharePoint Server and/or other CMS platforms, Dynamics CRM, live chat a plus.
