Detailed Job Description:
Data Center Migration Services to migrate the Source data center to Target data center and make Target data center as the sole Data Center for the Client. Conduct requirement gathering workshops with application owner to prepare of migration plan and migration wave groups plan based on application interdependencies. Perform vCenter Upgrade, Hypervisor Upgrade and VM Migration. Support Client application / database support teams for DB replication and migration, client application teams during application functionality tests. Provide post migration support, Knowledge Transfer to identified client staff and Handover of workloads to Client operations support teamThe District operates two Data Center facilities, the Primary Data Center PDC at downtown Beaudry Avenue Los Angeles headquarters and the Secondary Data Center SDC at Birmingham Complex in Van Nuys. These facilities house the majority of the Districts shareduse Information Technology IT assets including computer systems, communication components that host and provide access to all District enterprise applications
