Job Title: SAP PP Functional Consultant

Skill: Production planning and execution (Production Planning + Variant Configuration)
Need strong experience in Core MFG for at least 12-15 years with experience of working in Make to order environment.
Experience of working with Configurable materials or projects that used configurable materials would be a big plus.
There is a need to have a clear view on complexities from configurable materials in handling Variants BOMs, routings as also impact on capturing cost information for producing such materials.
There is also a need to have good understanding of integration with PLM/Engineering for document exchange as also in capturing the specifications of the component to be manufactured.
Consultant also needs to participate in Data migration discussions as also integration discussions with other streams to help build a Proof of concept of a harmonized solution that addresses customer needs of addressing pain areas and also the strategic objectives of achieving a harmonized solution.
Must Have Skills
Good knowledge of Demand management, MRP MPS planning, LTP, Production order execution, MTS MTO CTO ETO E2E scenario configuration setup, Product costing for manufactured finished goods.
Variant configuration setup Define Super BOM, Super Routing, Variant classes , characteristics, Configuration profile, Object dependencies, Selection condition, Procedures, Variant table, Variant condition
Simulate variant configuration through classical configuration modular and Advance variant configuration,
Top 3 responsibilities
Work as SAP Production Planning consultant in S4HANA greenfield implementation project.
Requirement gathering, blue printing, design. System configuration, functional testing
Coordination with technical team and other functional teams. Test data setup for UAT.
