| Hello Hope you are doing well. Please find the below job description and let me know your thoughts. Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Austin, TX - Remote Contract: 6-18 months CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Required: - Experience in the IT industry.
- Ability to interact with a diverse level of staff to exchange and/or extract information.
- Software testing experience using analysis, skills, and interacting with business end-users and technical staff.
- Experience with business analysis related to documenting and validating business requirements and business processes
- Experience in formulating use case scenarios, creating test plans, and performing application testing.
- Experience developing and executing detailed test cases within a complex software environment.
- Experience in performing business analysis and writing technical documentation.
- Experience in developing, maintaining, and upgrading automated test scripts.
- Experience using quality management software such as Quality Center.
- Experience with MS Office products (e.g., Teams, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Experience in effective general written/oral communication, including documenting requirements, deliverables, test scenarios and project status.
- Experience utilizing the Agile methodology or similar methodologies for software development.
- Experience as an Agile Product Owner or lead business analyst.
Preferred: - Experience with Medicaid “electronic visit verification” or timekeeping systems.
- Experience with Medicaid Long-term Care programs, managed care organizations, or Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).
- Knowledge of Texas Health and Human Services programs.
- Working knowledge of Texas Medicaid claims and portal processing.
- Knowledge of IT environments in Texas State Government Services.
- Experience as an Agile Product Owner.
