 Position:   Business Systems Analyst

 

Location:   Remote

 

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Visa: USC, GC, H4EAD

Pharma/CRO experience

Agile, hybrid and waterfall experience

Experience with integrations and related documentation (e.g., Source to Target Mapping, Functional Specifications)

Must be fully vaccinated

 

Analyzes issues with requirements and design.
Helps to define interaction of data with other systems/databases at PPD or client companies.
Manages business acceptance testing, including authoring and execution of test scripts.
Work with developers, QA testers, validation team members and managers to create and analyze various other required project documentation.
Provides guidance to associate level Business System Analyst staff in requirement gathering projects.
Stays abreast with the latest developments in related technologies and share knowledge with team members.
Trains on new technologies and tools that are related to job duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good understanding of system development life cycle and requirements methodology
Good understanding of requirement gathering methodologies, for example waterfall, Agile, Spiral, JAD sessions, as well as best practice
Ability to write traditional requirements
Ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria
Good understanding of different requirement types such as Business, User, Functional, and non- Functional
Ability to write specifications for complex systems
Good MS Office skills
Ability to estimate level of effort for large sized projects
Good business skills including the following: documentation, presentation, interpersonal, and communication
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to interact with relational databases at an intermediate level
Additional skills
Pharmaceutic/CRO experience preferred. Financial experience a potential, too.
Prefer candidate who has experience with data integrations and proven ability to develop related specifications and source to target mapping.
Ability to perform data analysis and back-end mapping preferred. Understanding of database structures and ability to write SQL.
Experience with CTMS, specifically Veeva, and other clinical systems preferred.
Experience with data migrations beneficial.

Additional Skills Requested:
Desirable skills include pharma/CRO experience
Agile, hybrid and waterfall experience
Experience with site payments applications and processes would be beneficial
Experience with integrations and related documentation (e.g., Source to Target Mapping, Functional Specifications) is a plus
