Experience of at least 1 or 2 full cycles as Data architect for a utility (Power/Water/Sewer) with hands on Design and deployment experience in Informatica, DataStage or any other ETL tools for Oracle CC&B. Proficient with Oracle CC&B data model and key functionalities of CC&B. Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability Strong soft skills required. Ready to travel to client locations as needed. Detailed Job Description: We are looking for a candidate with a strong utility domain background in playing a Technical Architect lead role in Data Archival and Purging for Oracle CC&B/C2M database. The Candidate will need to have experience in Data Model for Oracle CC&B/C2M and strong understanding of Entity Relationship and Functional association of it. S/he should have experience in meter to cash functionality for determining what is/what if. The typical responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following: Should be proficient in using Oracle Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) Should be very proficient with Oracle CC&B/C2M data model. Should be able to conduct CC&B/C2M data analysis for determining the retention. Should be able to identify and perform data dependency activities as part of the archival/purging. Should be able to design and develop ETL jobs in tools like Information, Oracle DataStage etc.… for Oracle CC&B/C2M. Should be able to propose and lead the Archival/Purging strategy. Should be proficient in Database admin activities and familiar with table partitioning, index, performance tuning. Should be able to plan the data archival and purging deployment activities and lead it. Should be able to work with Oracle CC&B Functional team to understand the impacts on data archival activities. Should be proficient in writing SQLs required for data purging activities. Should be proficient in SQL tuning mechanisms. The candidate must be a team player and is also expected to help the project team with any functional issues that may arise during the project. Minimum years of experience required: 10+ years
