Level of Experience	Over 10 yrs. of experience in data management
Domain expertise	A hands-on data strategist with expertise in data architecture Experience in building contemporary data consumption for digital API needs, predictive, prescriptive and descriptive needs. Experience leading data modernization into cloud from legacy data platforms. Experience in executing automation across various data management functions. Vision into data marketplace and where enterprises across are driving towards. Be able to convince senior leadership within business and technology partners on proposed solution and get buy in.
Critical skillset	Bachelors degree in data science, Business analytics, computer science. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R or similar Strong understanding of data governance , privacy regulations and data security. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non technical stakeholders. Strategic thinking and problem -solving abilities to drive innovative data driven solutions Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively Hands on expertise in: Azure SQL Synapse, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Event Hub, Python, Spark Scala, Spark streaming experience is a MUST Building and Implementing data ingestion and curation process developed using Cloud data tools such as Azure SQL Synapse analytics, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Spark (Scala/python), Data bricks, Delta Lake, Azure Cosmos search etc. Near real time data process and handling ETL/data transformations on streaming data. Ingesting and curating huge volumes data from various platforms for Reporting, Analytics, Data Supply, and Transactional (Operational data store and APIs) needs. Strong SQL knowledge and data analysis skills for data anomaly detection and data quality assurance. Strong expertise on spark Scala and python. Extensive experience on No SQL data bases and Cosmos SQL API optimizations for API consumptions Think outside the box to create re-usable frameworks to perform complex transformations, data quality, profiling that are metadata driven Performance tuning and problem-solving skills is a must. Performance tuning on Azure SQL Synapse dedicated SQL Pool and server SQL Pools, Cosmos Mongo and SQL APIs loading and consumption optimizations.
Role/Responsibility	Collaborate with senior leadership to define the organization’s data strategy, aligning it with business objectives and grow targets Identify key data driven opportunities and challenges and formulate strategic plans to address them. Collaborate with cross functional teams including IT, analytics, marketing , operations and finance to ensure seamless execution of data strategies and initiatives. Act as a bridge between technical and non technical teams translating business needs into data solutions Research and evaluate new data technologies ,tools and platforms that align with the organizations data strategy and objectives. Lead the implementation and integration of data solutions , working closely with IT teams and vendors.
Location	US time zone. If remote, should be able to come to Cary office periodically to do white board sessions with stakeholders and leadership
