 Position: Azure Network Architect

 

Location:   Remote

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Visa: USC, GC,

 

Role Description:  Cloud Competency Center, Azure Network Architect

Working Hours (i.e. 8am – 5pm):  8:30 – 5:00, occasional after hours (as dictated by project requirements)
Required Qualifications:

• Involve and coordinate key stakeholders (partners and internal teams) when required
• Document and improve procedures, implementation plan, diagram, technical inventory
• Build and analyze network components in Azure
• Communicate regularly on network services activities to stakeholders
• Ensure follow-up methodology for all actions engaged
• Participate and assess design of network solutions
• Lead network projects design and deployment
• Coordinate internal and external teams to focus on the delivery
• Follow-up accurately project tasks until the objective is reached
• Provide reporting on project activities
• Follow and propose improvement for project methodology in place

Skills

• Cloud Network architecture and services (Azure preferred)
• Agile methodology especially scrum (epics, user stories, features, MVP…) (SAFE preferred)
• Next Generation firewall, IPS and application load-balancing in IaaS environments, Check Point experience a plus
• WAN architecture, routing protocols (BGP, static routing, UDR, Express Route...)
• Strong working knowledge of web application technologies including multi-tier architectures and common protocols
• Experience with JSON, ARM templates, Powershell and automation/scripting technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Knowledge of the full development and project lifecycle
• Experience in a matrix organization and in a Multi-National Company is essential
• Experience using CI/CD tools
• Experience working with Devops

Years of Experience Required:
Minimum 3-6 years' experience in building & deploying applications and technologies to the Cloud. 
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in building and deploying enterprise networking and security.

Preferred:
Minimum 3-6 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
International experience a plus, ability to speak French, Spanish, and/ or Portuguese is not necessary but would be a plus.
