 Position: Java developer

 

Location:  Atlanta, GA, 30308

Duration: 12 Months

 

Visa: USC, GC,GCEAD

 

Client Corporation is seeking resumes for a Java developer with a broad range of experience that empowers the candidate to contribute to a variety of project life cycle deliverables. Candidates must be a team player with a minimum of 6 years IT experience. Candidates musthave direct experience using Java technologies.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement web-based transportation planning systems.
• Provide production support and enhancements for existing applications.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
• 6 years of software development
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
  Software development methodology
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to quickly learn railroad domain knowledge 

Skills Required:

• Core Java development (Java 8+)
• SQL with RDBMS
• Spring/Spring Boot

Skills Preferred:

• Jenkins/Gradle
• Javascript development (React, Angular, etc.)
• DB2
• Docker and Kubernetes (prefer Openshift/OKD)
• Linux, *NIX based OS
• HTML 5, CSS3
