Title: Data Center Consultant

Location: Austin, Texas (Remote)

Duration: 12+ Months

Experience: 12+ years

Key Responsibilities:

·       Experience with overseeing Data Center services providers for compute and storage supporting 24/7 environments. Experience overseeing infrastructure and operations resources.

·       Experience establishing goals and objectives for maintaining the infrastructure, security, and Operation.

·       Experience with technical implementation, scheduling, assessing problems, and communicating up to management. Oversees infrastructure changes.

·       High level of technical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of data center operations to support critical functions.

·       Lead, plans, and assigns work for Server Support, Physical Database, and application teams that support Operation systems and databases.

·       Assist IT manager with oversight of two Data Center Services providers which are responsible for supporting computing, security, and storage components.

·       Works closing with the Data Center Services providers and Systems Architects to develop the Technology Roadmap Plan and set a strategic path for infrastructure and operations

·       Oversees environment expansion, migrations, modernizations for Storage/Compute/Network/Application systems.

·       Responsible for maintaining detailed industry

·       knowledge, especially around Cloud, and integrate those to internal technical domain knowledge.

·       Oversees multiple audits annually. Leads major projects for Operations which include migrations of Data Center hardware and software upgrades. Review legislative and business requirements for impact to TIERS. As member of the TIERS Change Cont

·       Reviews and approves Operations documentation which includes the Security Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan, Operational Procedures and Monthly Maintenance plan.

·       Provides technical expertise, as a member of the Operations management team, on changes with ecosystem, including the design and development of new technology, security events, and root cause analysis of all severity events.

·       Experience with 24/7 on call support.

·       Experience with DevOps and DevOp tools.

·       Experience in delivering technical training in cloud‐ based technology is a plus.

·       Experience ITIL - ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow.

·       Experience managing Archer GRC.
