Job Description

Azure Data and Power BI Solutions Lead

Job Duties:

• Design and implement secured data pipelines, analytic capabilities using Azure Services and Power BI

• Direct and manage the team of engineers developing the data pipeline and reports

• Coordinate with SMEs and Business Owners to capture business requirements and translate to technical requirements

• Enable Automation for enabling high availability services to meet RTO and RPO SLOs

• Influence and contribute to Data and BI community of practice

Must-Have Skills:

The position requires excellent Visualization, communication, coaching, and training skills, as well as the ability to work well independently and in a collaborative team environment.

• 12+ Years of strong relevant consulting or industry experience delivering Power BI Solutions

• Experience in the design, development, and implementation of data warehousing, reporting and analytics solutions

• Strong Data and Dashboard Architecture and problem-solving skills.

• Strong Experience in Power BI Report Development: Data modelling, PBI Visualizations and Functions, Power Query and Performance optimization.

• Strong experience in Azure Data Factory for creating and managing Data pipeline, and working with the linked services, data sets and triggers. 

• Strong Experience in data modelling, Design patterns, ETL packages, OLAP cubes, and reports utilizing Power BI applying best practices to the development lifecycle

• Expertise in Designing Reporting Mart Considering source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and database design.

• Identify areas of improvement to optimize data flows

• Experience in DAX Engineering: Strong skills in DAX query writing, Power Query, Performance optimization, Power Builder API for DAX and Performance Optimization

• Showing a high level of technical excellence that will drive new ideas and deliver outstanding (and well-tested) output

• Exceptional knowledge in designing high performance Cloud Data Visualization

• Hands on experience Architecting and delivering solutions using the Azure Data Analytics platform including Azure Native Data Migration Service, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Data SSIS

• Strong Communication skills (written and verbal)
