Work Location: Johnston, RI
Duration: 6 months contract
Required
• 6+ years of experience as WebSphere administrator
• Advanced level of server configurations and deployments
• 6+ years of experience as MQ administrator
• Configuration of Queue Managers, Queues, Channels and Listeners
• Create broker configuration on need basis and deploy applications
• Security implementation across Queue Managers and channels
• Configuring logging mechanism
• Experience should include Web Sphere application servers of the following:
o Web sphere Admin servers 6.1, 7.0,7.1 , 7.5 and 8.0
o WebSphere Application server installation & Configuration
o Profile Creation/Deletion
o JVM creation + Verification
o Cluster creation + Verification
o OutOfMemory issue
o Thread hung issue
o Stale connection issue
o Datasource connection issue
o Application related issue
o SSL handshake error
o Plugin error
o Knowledge transition to support team
o Creating the build documentation
o Implementation plan creation/review
o POC based on the architectural design on the lower region
o WAS Performance Tuning
o WAS migration
• Good communication skills required (oral and written)
• Troubleshoot the environment and identify the root cause of the problem and proposes the resolution.
• Ability to cross skill on the technologies required for the project.
• Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)
