Job Description:
 
•    We are looking to hire a talented SharePoint Developer to work on existing SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint online sites.  This may include an entire site redesign.  As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to business user specifications/requirements, building scalable web applications, writing and modifying code, debugging software, and training staff.
•    To ensure success as a SharePoint Developer, you should have extensive knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office software, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues. The SharePoint Developer should be able to create clean, scalable SharePoint websites that meet all design and functionality requirements.
SharePoint Developer Responsibilities/Requirements:
•    Ability to work with and explain concepts to non-IT users.
•    Meeting with the users to determine the design based upon  requirements.
•    Setting tasks and development goals.
•    Configuring the SharePoint systems to specified requirements.
•    May develop new web components as necessary.
•    Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.
•    Familiarity with Active Directory and SharePoint integration.
•    Testing and debugging code.
•    Troubleshooting software issues.
•    Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.
•    Providing systems training to staff and customers.
•    Train and mentor more junior Developers
•    Demonstrate strong working knowledge of features, limitations, security, and business utilization of development products
•    Exercises good judgment, possesses strong communications skills, and exhibits leadership capabilities
•    Position may require experience with specific languages, technologies, or software to meet the business and development needs, as necessary  (e.g., vb.net, .NET framework)
•    Bachelor’ s Degree, or equivalent experience, in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems
•    Ability to work on all phases of complex application assignments
•    Ability to work effectively with clients, IT management, and peers as a team player
•    Demonstrates proficiency in problem solving
•    Requires 4+ years of SharePoint 2013 or SharePoint Online development (or a mix of both)
•    Ability to solve complex software issues.
•    Ability to project manage.

Job Description:
 
•    Experienced IT Project Managers needed for medium to large sized enterprise projects of moderate to high complexity and risk in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. 
•    Candidate should have experience in both IT development and infrastructure positions.
•    The Department of Labour has embarked on a multi-year initiative to modernize the existing environment to a more current and cost effective distributed environment.
•    It will involve replacing existing legacy business applications with COTS products or internally developed applications.
 
The position, assigned to the Project Management Office, will direct and coordinate project activities, including but not limited to:
•    Planning
•    Schedule development and maintenance
•    Resource tracking
•    Risk management
•    Communications management
•    Reporting
•    Quality management
•    Vendor management
•    Primary duties will be to manage all aspects of the project following PMI best practices and the Georgia Department of Labor Project Management Methodology.
•    Successful candidates will be accomplished project managers who have directed and successfully managed, from start to finish, complex, technology projects with aggressive timelines.
 
Required Skills:
•    Project Management Certification (PMP) or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
•    Demonstrated success managing large complex programs/projects utilizing multiple delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM, Kanban)
 
Documented recent experience in:
•    Business requirements gathering.
•    Business process documentation.
•    full Systems Development Life Cycle and Testing Methodologies
•    Candidates must have managed at least two full lifecycle projects (initiation through deployment/warranty) with project teams in excess of 10 team members, and must have had FULL end-to-end accountability for the project management role. Demonstrated experience managing IT projects that impact across the enterprise –Experience must be related to software application development and implementation. Experience collaborating with vendor partners in the delivery of project solutions required.
•    Well-developed communication skills – oral, written, listening. Good analytical and negotiation skills, and close attention to detail.
•    Must have excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivation skills.
•    Expert level knowledge of standard PM tools (MS Project Professional, Sharepoint, Visio, MS Office Suite)
