Skills Required
* Minimum of 8-10 years of experience with Administration and Management of EMC and Netapp Storage, Cisco MDS and Brocade Switches.
* Minimum of 8-10 years of experience with Cisco MDS and Brocade.
* Minimum of 3-4 years of experience of Administration and Management of Networker, Avamar and Data domain.
* Experience with EMC RPA replication technology with VNX, VMAX and VMAX AFA as backend.
* Hands ON Experience in VMAX, VNX, XIO, Netapp FAS cluster mode Storage Array Infrastructure Strong with Symcli commands.
* Enterprise backup/recovery operations utilizing EMC Networker and Avamar with EMC Data Domain appliances.
* Understands and has excellent knowledge and skills to trouble shoot Backup issues, tape issues, and storage issues.
* Strong Experience in Brocade, Cisco MDS san Fabric/Switches, Fabric Manager, Device Manager and Cisco SAN OS cli and DCNM.
* Extensive experience in Cisco SAN Fabric configuration including VSANs/Port-channels, Zoning and troubleshooting.
* Experience on replication tools like EMC RecoverPoint.
* Provision storage (file and block) to Unix \ Windows \ HP-UX servers from EMC VNX, VMAX, XIO and Netapp
* Comprehensive knowledge of FCP, FCOE, iSCSI, NFS and CIFS protocols
* Must be able to monitor and remediate system issues without direction
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to communicate well with various stakeholders. (Customer Management, Infrastructure team and application teams)
* Strong in troubleshooting issues.
Ability to compose and brief on current issues, projects and future enhancements, in a variety of delivery methods, to include: Executive Summary, capacity forecasting, project plans, Root Cause Analysis, After action reports.
* Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies
* Ability to work in a managed service environment.
* Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
* Strong Analytical skills
