Job Title* Android Mobile Developer

Job Details:
In the role of Senior Consultant, you will be developing Android applications in agile mode to developed the given user stories, you will be working independently and will have to be hands on to deliver the agile work. We want a developer that possesses passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. You will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. You will support all types of testing and support activities related to development, transition and warranty.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Over 7 years of software development experience
• Over 5 years of Android development
• Have published at least one original Android app
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Technical Skills:
• Android SDK, Bamboo, Java, Artifactory, Fortify, GitLab, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON, JQUERY, Oracle
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with web service integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Proficient in code versioning tools, such as Git
• Working experience in Agile methodology
• Excellent refining and estimation skills within scrum process
• Ability to facilitate a highly productive and collaborative work environment.
• Experience finance/banking industry is a plus
• Proficiency in platform native UX style and standards
• Candidate will be working in a team of highly motivated technical experts delivering various challenging high visibility projects.
• Ability to adapt to fast pace development model is crucial.
• Working experience in Test Driven Development is a plus
• Exposure to Continuous Integration.
• Contribute to operational and risk remediation activities.
• Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
