Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

In this role, you will be building, automating, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines for deploying

microservices. You will leverage your expertise in , Terraform, Amazon EKS

(Elastic Kubernetes Service), Docker, and Git (GitHub) to streamline the software development

lifecycle and ensure seamless deployments. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining

and supporting our ColdFusion applications.

Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines using for efficient and

reliable microservices deployment.

● Utilize Terraform to manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration on AWS.

● Employ Docker containers to package microservices for consistent and portable

deployments and orchestrate them using Kubernetes (EKS).

● Manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases.

● Integrate with Git (GitHub) for version control, testing and automated code deployments.

● Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and

translate them into effective CI/CD strategies.

● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, infrastructure, and CI/CD

pipelines.

● Continuously improve and optimize the CI/CD pipeline for efficiency and reliability.

● Strong understanding of security best practices and the ability to implement them in the

DevOps environment.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

● 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role

● Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines

● Proven experience with , Terraform, EKS, Docker, and Git

● Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, such as AWS and Kubernetes

● Experience with microservices architectures and GraphQL

● Excellent scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)

● Working knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or .NET.

● Experience with ColdFusion is a plus

● Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a plus

● Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
