Job Description

A Splunk architect is a professional who designs, implements, and maintains Splunk solutions for various use cases, such as security, IT operations, business analytics, and DevOps. A Splunk architect is responsible for ensuring the scalability, performance, security, and reliability of Splunk deployments, as well as integrating Splunk with other data sources and applications.

Requirements

·         A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

·         At least five years of experience in Splunk administration, development, and architecture, including Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, Splunk Enterprise Security, and Splunk IT Service Intelligence.

·         Expertise in Splunk data ingestion, parsing, indexing, searching, reporting, alerting, and dashboarding, using Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) and Splunk Data Models.

·         Proficiency in Splunk architecture design and best practices, such as distributed deployment, clustering, load balancing, high availability, disaster recovery, and backup and restore.

·         Knowledge of Splunk integration methods and APIs, such as HTTP Event Collector (HEC), Splunk DB Connect, Splunk Add-ons, and Splunk SDKs.

Preferences

·         Working knowledge of Windows, Linux with some UNIX scripting experience.

·         Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) and Regular Expression expertise

·         Splunk Core Certified Power User certification

·         Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin or Splunk Cloud Certified Admin preferred

·         Expertise with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

·         Experience leveraging Splunk or audit logs for incident response and user behavior analytics

Qualifications Required:

• Knowledge of project management tools, methods and practices.
• Ability to analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot and implement technology solutions.
• Experience in Microsoft Project software.
• Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft SharePoint.
• Knowledge of data modeling, interface management applications and tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or Client certified Project Management certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project management.
• Ability to program and create custom reports using IT application standard tools.
• A combination of training, experience, or education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or related field desired.
• Progressively responsible experience with system analysis, design, development, testing and troubleshooting.

Preferred:
• Agile Scrum Master Certification.

Job Description

As an MLOps Implementation Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to understand and implement our pre-developed MLOps strategies across various tools, including Domino Data Lab and AWS SageMaker. You will play a crucial role in containerizing these models and developing automated processes to deploy them into AWS Batch, Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR), or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).

Key Responsibilities:

- Interact with Analytics teams to gather requirements for Python and R container images.

- Resolve dependencies for the required Python and R packages.

- Identify and address any security vulnerabilities in the container images.

- Develop and maintain custom container images to ensure compatibility with SageMaker and Domino Data Lab.

- Test and validate container images to ensure they meet performance and reliability standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of custom images.

- Document processes and provide training as needed to ensure team members can effectively use and manage the custom containers.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in managing and developing custom containers, especially with Python and R.

- Strong expertise with Amazon SageMaker and its various components.

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

- Knowledge of dependency management and package resolution for Python and R.

- Understanding of security best practices and vulnerability mitigation for container images.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with AWS Cloud and its services like S3, ECR, EKS etc.

·         Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

·         Understanding of machine learning model lifecycle management.
