Job Description:

Required Skills 

1. Big Data, Hadoop, HIVE 
2. Scripting using Python 
3. Proficient in SQL, ideally previous experience with a Data Warehouse technology and MySQL 
4. Creating Test cases to compare Source and Target database systems and check all the transformation rules.

Nice to have : 

1. Marketo 
2. ETL tools 
3. QA automation 
4. Spark 

Role & Responsibilities: 

• Ensure accuracy and consistency of big-data processing, analytical results and reporting 
• Identify, isolate & document defects and inconsistencies in data sources and products 
• Perform workflows and test cases, documenting results and unresolved issues 
• Document, track, and communicate test results, analysis, and unresolved problems 
• Maintain involvement throughout the development cycle for defects, features and improvements providing timely support as required 
• Problem solving and root cause analysis 
• Have experience in enterprise scale testing frameworks 
• Own the quality of every release into production 
• Design, implement and execute manual and automated test cases 
• Help establish quality metrics fir QA team and help the team reach the goals 
• Document and enforce best practices in both the test and development -teams 
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and maintainable automated-testing frameworks; select best tools; and own responsibility for overall test strategy and implementation 
• Develop code, scripts and utilities for use by the Test Automation team 
• Experience in creating & running automated test suites.
