Hands on experience in Selenium Automation.
Java Developer background: Please pick someone with developer background and willing to do QE. These candidates can meet our expectations.
• Know how to set up work space
• Get code compiled and running independently
• Know read the app and automation code by himself to figure out issues
Strong computer science background: I am not expecting them to know all the selenium commands etc but as long as they have good foundational computer science background is good. They can learn selenium commands or automation techniques easily.
• Knowledge of data structures and
• Algorithms
This will help them as in most of the automation we use that. if we get a person that does not have good programming skills, it will add too much burden on us. normally computer science major should have that foundation.
Backend engineer: for QE roles, we have more need in backend skills and not much in frontend. So find someone with strong java backend.Looking for a strong End to End lead who can lead the program and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Must have Strong Client interfacing skills and Seamless communication. Hands on experience in Selenium Automation
