Role: Employee Experience Engineer

Location: Auburn Hills,MI 

Client: Volkswagen

Experience: 10+

 

Education and Years of Experience:  

• 3+ years of modern SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams experience
• 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft 365 suite, including Stream, Forms, and Viva

 

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

• Passion for the employee experience
• Passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies / features
• Ability to build visually appealing sites and content
o Experience using SharePoint Look Book templates
• Ability to accurately determine level of effort and deliver initiatives on time
• Collaborative and proactive work-style
• Excellent multitasking capabilities while adapting to changing priorities
• Solid organizational and business analysis skills
• Excellent attention to detail, while also keeping the big picture in mind
• Experience implementing Home and Communication sites including news hierarchy

o Experience implementing Viva Connections – Dashboard, Feed and Resources
o Experience implementing audience targeting using AD groups
o Experience implementing out-of-box, ACE, and third party dashboard cards
• Formal web design experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON) and SPFx framework
• Ability to train end users on how to update their content ongoing

  

Additional Requirements:

Desired:
• Proven experience managing an intranet in a large company built on the SharePoint framework
• 1-3 years of experience developing low-code/no-code solutions using the Power Platform
• Experience with developing and supporting other employee experience technologies
• Experience with collaboration and communication solutions within a cross-tenant environment
• Formal search optimization experience
• Familiarity and experience with other Viva modules such as Viva Engage, Viva Learning, etc.
