Positions: Data Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX and Mclean, VA (LOCALS ONLY)

Exp: 10+

Must to have
a. Must have 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience as Data engineer in cloud transformation projects.
b. Design and develop normalized relational database schema in Cloud SQL, BigTable, FiresStore, Spanner to support data analysis requirements.
c. Conduct data analysis on raw data of resources and Cloud SQL to ensure data completeness and accuracy
d. Experience in setting up Cloud SQL Managed instance (SQL MI)
e. Hands on experience in Schema design, optimization, Stored procedure and SQL Jobs
f. Hands on experience in setting up resource monitors, Role Based Access controls, Query performance tuning, Setting up IAM policies.
g. Experience in Data Migration from on-premises RDBMS to Cloud SQL Managed Instances (SQL MI)
h. Good understanding on SQL MI Security,
i. Good understanding on Relational and Non-SQL databases – SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
j. Experience in Cloud data storage (Ex. Blob, S3)

Nice to have:
1. Experience in Data pipeline development, ETL/ELT
2. Understand end data requirements such as reporting requirements (such as PowerBI)
3. Understanding on setting DWH Concepts
4. Certification in one or more of the following areas:
o Google cloud Professional Data Engineer
o Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
5. Experience in DevOps/DevSecOps practices to enable continuous integration and deployment of the data solution
