 Position:  SQL DEVELOPER

 

Location:  Remote

 

Duration: 12+ months

 

Visa : USC,GC

LOCATION DETAILS:

• Fully Remote, Local candidates are given preference

Top 3-5 Technical Skills:

• Microsoft SQL Server
• SSIS/SSAS
• Data visualization/ report development, specifically in PowerBI
• Azure Synapse
• RedGate Tools

PRESCREEN QUESTIONS: 

• Preference is given to candidates who have worked in the retail vertical. Do they have this experience?
• Do they have experience with Query performance tuning and insight.
• Have they developed Azure Data pipelines and performant solutions in Azure Synapse Analytics.

ADDITIONAL INFO: 

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience with the following: 

• Microsoft SQL Server 
• SSIS/SSAS
• Ad hoc query and custom API development with a SaaS/PaaS data analytical platform 
• Data visualization/report development, specifically in PowerBI
• Experience in developing Azure Data Pipeline and performant solutions in Azure Synapse Analytics
• Ability to understand requirements and deliver solutions 
• High learning agility 
• Learn data landscape quickly to provide architectural recommendations for SaaS/PaaS solutions
• Query performance tuning and insight 
• Basic DBA skills (indexing, index optimization, maintenance plans, physical design, logical design.  

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in: 

• Agile Methodology 
• Retail vertical industry 
• RedGate Tools 
• Azure Synapse experience
• Change and Incident Management systems and/or processes
