Role: Connected services Release Manager

Location: Auburn Hills, MI (Onsite Hybrid)

Client: Volkswagen

Experience: 10+

 

· Education and Years of Experience: 

o   5+ years experience in release management or related software engineering roles

o   10 Plus years of experience in Enterprise IT

o   Expert knowledge of release management processes, tools, and best practices

o   Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent, high-velocity releases

o   Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

o   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

o   Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure as code

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

o   Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

o   Agile artifacts (Sprints, Backlogs) 

o   high level of proficiency in Agile tools (Confluence, JIRA, etc.)

Additional Requirements:

o   Highly knowledgeable and practical expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), execution of Agile ceremonies and events (Sprint Planning, Stand-up,

o   Refinement, etc), Agile artifacts (Sprints, Backlogs) and high level of proficiency in Agile tools (Confluence, JIRA, Visio, Azure Dev Ops, etc.).  

o   Exceptional leader and communicator, adept at fostering team collaboration and cultivating cohesive IT/Business partnerships, with an overarching responsibility to oversee, support and deliver high quality software to targeted markets.
