Job Title: Storage (SAN) Admin
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Position type: Contract
Contract duration: 9 months+ extension possible
Technology - storage/backup admin
Must have skills for this project:
storage admin (netapp, storsimple, hp msa, hp 3par), backup admin (microsoft dpm, emc avamar, mars)
Minimum years of experience required: 10+ years
Required
* Experience in storage and backup administration
* Perform san zoning configuration changes and allocate storage to specific servers/applications
* Perform capacity planning, performance analysis and other needs assessments as requested by upper management.
* Troubleshoot/diagnose and resolve complex problems involving servers, san storage and san switches
* Perform on-going optimization of the systems to ensure adequate capacity, availability and scalability.
* Manage backup schedules and policies. Restore and recover data as requested.
